In our experience people who are not very well versed in how a dryer works have a tougher time determining when to give us a call. Compared to people with the same knowledge of washing machines. The thing is people notice that the dryer is not working correctly when the clothes they put in are still wet after the cycle that would have had them dry up. People usually start looking for excuses as to why this happened instead of giving us a call right away. On a lot of occasions by the time you have this type of problem with your dryer the problem has been developing for a while. The best thing that you can do is seek our help!
Try To Be Extra Careful
This is something that we can say about a lot of the appliances that we work with. That being said, we do believe that it is important to point out that dryer heater problems could lead to major issues. That is one of the reasons why we typically don’t recommend a hands-on approach to try and repair your dryer. If you are seeing that your clothes are not coming out as they should it would be better if you gave us a call instead of trying to get things done on your own.
Electric Or Gas Powered Dryer
We can start out by saying that we are capable of repairing both types of dryers. So you should not be too concerned about that when you make a call to us. The reason that we bring this up is so that you can spot some of the more common problems. With electric dryers, things like sudden power outages could be the cause of negative effects on the dryer. With gas powered dryers the problem can also be coming from your supply of gas and not the dryer itself. These are things to keep in mind!
Is It Worth Replacing The Motor?
The biggest fear that people have when they give us a call is that we tell them that the motor needs to be replaced. Unfortunately, this is a line that a lot of people who are not real professionals have overused. It is actually not that common to have a motor issue with a dryer unless the machine is getting up there in age. Each situation is going to be unique, but there are actually going to be very few instances where we would flat out recommend that you replace the motor instead of just starting over.
Just Moved And My Dryer Won’t Work
Without a doubt, this is a common issue. Whenever you alter the position of your dish washer and dryer you have to make sure that they are hooked up correctly to the new installations. We know that sounds obvious, but it is sometimes easier said than done. If you are having this type of issue don’t try and wrestle your dryer on your own. Give us a call and we can fix the problem quickly.
